I love Saturday mornings when you don't have to be anywhere......no kids birthday parties or sporting commitments.
Coffee with my husband even tastes better when we can sit back in our pyjamas and savour it slowly......
My painting wrist is still out of action so the makeover reveal I had planned will have to wait until next Saturday......it's a gorgeous outdoor table just big enough for the four of us to eat al fresco this Summer and enjoy the water views which we will have any day now! I have an installation date for the pool and it's not too far away!!!
I am however after suggestions on how to make over this vintage find......what should I do with this great wooden ladder? Any ideas???
Now it's over to you......show me what you've been up to!
Share the link for the party on Facebook or Twitter.
And if anyone knows how to make a button please let me know.
Funnily enough I have two old ladders that I'm not sure what to do with. I'll be watching what you do with interest. BTW Loving your Saturday Link party, thank you for organising. xT

Thanks Cheryl :) x
DeleteThanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI have a really big ladder that it just a little too big, but yours looks perfect. I would use it as an outdoor Christmas tree over the holidays and then use it as a shelf afterwards.
Fairy lights might just do the trick ;O)
DeleteHey Tania :) Awesome ladder! I think old ladders are great just on their own, maybe with a little string of fairy lights or a vase of flowers, perhaps a few books and shells, not overloaded with practicality, if you know what I mean. Anyhoo, have a good weekend and thanks for hosting this linky.

Maybe your ladder could be used to hang wet towels by the new pool :) A new pool is so exciting! Thanks for stopping by and inviting me to your party. I'm looking forward to checking out many of the projects.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Petie,
DeleteYou're the first American to join the party and I'm sooooo glad you did.

I love your ladder - I've seen one put on its side, up on the wall and used a s book shelf which I thought looked great!
ReplyDeleteI've painted mine, but it didn't have the great print your has!
Great ladder - I like it wooden as is, perhaps with a bit less of the splattered paint... am interested to see how you style it up...
ReplyDeleteWas in need of a bit of an interiors fix this arvo so decided to pop over here for a little catch up... x
Hi Tania :) Love your ladder... aren't they great! I white washed mine to keep the lovely character (linked up last week)... I love the printing on yours! Have a great week lovely. Jo xx
ReplyDeleteI would say white wash too so it doesn't over power the lovely printing but a powder blue colour would look fab too. Best of luck!
